OUR STORY
On November 21, 2008, Adriene R. Walker founded A+ Educational Foundation as an unincorporated nonprofit association for the educational foundation of San Antonio students. On January 11, 2018, the organization became a nonprofit corporation, A+ Academic Resources. The organization exists for the sole purpose of ensuring successful outcomes for children. A+ Academic Resources has an unwavering commitment to transforming the lives of children who may be overlooked if nonprofits did not value a social service Mission. The Members of our organization come from childhood poverty and rose from poverty because loving people cared enough to help us rewrite our stories. We love children, so we give 100% for their betterment. Together We Can rewrite their stories.
MISSION
To provide educational resources to K - 12 students
in San Antonio public schools who lack the necessities for academic success
The educational growth & development of students is adversely impacted because fundamental educational needs are not being met. Students lack required supplies, textbooks & uniforms for school. For example, students are participating in gym class with shoes that are too small or non-athletic. Students must have comfortable uniforms & shoes to exercise. Students need supplies & textbooks to complete assignments. A+ Academic Resources was created to help our students succeed! They are our future teachers, ministers, soldiers, police officers, nurses, doctors, scientists, engineers, lawyers & more. Together We Can help our students achieve their dreams! All funding 100% goes to Mission accomplishment (Zero Overhead Costs)--see 990. The bottom line is students require educational resources to go to school & learn. We help students succeed!

Spread the Love of Jesus Christ
by Meeting Student Needs
As a Christian nonprofit organization, we aim to share the love of Jesus by meeting the educational needs of disadvantaged youth. By showing loving-kindness to these "precious babies", we are in alignment with God's Word. In Matthew 25: 35 - 40, Jesus says that we "do it for Him" when we provide drink, food, clothing, shelter, lodging, and ministering care to others.

"Over 90% of SAISD students live in poverty" - SAISD Foundation. This is disheartening for students! We can encourage them & give them hope by ensuring these deserving students have school supplies, school clothes & shoes, and the educational support they need for academic success.
